DESCRIPTION:

The glutathione S-transferase (GST, previously known as ligandins) family of enzymes is composed of many cytosolic, mitochondrial, and microsomal proteins. GSTs are present in eukaryotes and in prokaryotes, where they catalyze a variety of reactions and accept endogenous and xenobiotic substrates. GST tag antibody can be helpful in detecting the fusion protein during purification as well as the cleavage of GST from the protein of interest.

SPECIFICITY: The GST tag antibody can recognize C-terminal, internal, and N-terminal GST fusion proteins.

ISOTYPE: IgG1

APPLICATIONS: Western blot: 1:2,000-1:8,000

Immunoprecipitation or immunostaining with recombinant proteins: 1:500 -1,2000

ELISA on recombinant proteins: 1:500-1:1,200

*NOTE: The optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

FORMAT: Ascites fluid

STORAGE/HANDING: Maintain at -20ºC in undiluted aliquots up to 12 months. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
